Today
I close the door on a chapter that’s held me for more than 17 years.
Seventeen.
A stretch of time that shaped routines, rhythms, and pieces of who I became.
It molded me, moved me, challenged me,
And asked more of me than I thought I had to give.
But I gave it—
Because that’s what growth demands.
I started quiet.
Intimidated.
Shy.
Unsure of my voice, careful with every step,
Trying to find my place in rooms that felt too big for me.
But something happened in the showing up—
In the learning, the adapting, the rising.
Over time, I grew into the space I once shrunk inside of.
Now?
I leave it standing tall.
Rooted.
Ready.
To those I worked alongside—
Thank you.
For every collaboration, every challenge, every moment that made me better.
You shared wisdom, patience, and grace.
You let me fail forward.
You celebrated the wins that weren’t just mine.
You helped shape not just what I did,
But who I became.
And yes, there’s a quiet ache in the goodbye.
Because familiarity holds comfort.
And letting go of something that has held so much of you
Will always leave a mark.
But that ache is proof that it mattered.
That it meant something.
That it changed me in the best way.
The next chapter?
It’s a blank page.
Full of unknowns,
But also full of possibility.
And even though I’m stepping into it with a little nervous energy—
I’m also stepping in with hope.
With experience.
With confidence I earned, not borrowed.
I’m not walking away from something—
I’m walking toward a new space to grow.
To lead.
To contribute in ways I’ve only imagined until now.
A space that sees who I am now—
Not just where I started.
So here’s to the farewell that gave me perspective.
To the long road that taught me resilience.
To the ending that reminds me—
“You were never standing still.
You were preparing.”
The best isn’t behind me.
It’s just ahead.
And I’m already on my way.
